B-A-N-A-N-A-WHAT?

Do you ever get a song so stuck in your head that you just can't get it out...well I'm sure you do and right now I have that banana song stuck in my head...I can't remember who sings it but I can play the entire video back in my head and all of my fun high school memories that went along with this crazy fun song...

I'm not sure how many of you played team sports but I was a runner...and we had some crazy conversations on those long runs...the banana song always came in about 2 miles around the track on a hot day of track season...a swarm of girls would start screaming, "This
($hit) is bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S! " It would continue on for a lap or two, going around to different groups of runners. There was always something substituted for the obviously off-color second word of the lyrics, but who knows what it was...

Now that I'm thinking about it, what in the world is that song even about? Crazy, you can run around singing a song, get it stuck in your head for days, sing it to a friend over the phone years later, and still not have any idea what it's about!
